What is the Canadian Sunroom Manufacturers Association?
The Canadian Sunroom Manufacturers Association is a member driven trade association dedicated to the advancement of the manufacture and construction of safe, energy efficient and environmentally conscious, code compliant sunrooms, patio rooms and solariums.
The mandate of the Canadian Sunroom Manufacturers Association is to provide a unified voice for the Canadian sunroom manufacturing industry, in order to accomplish the following:
- To provide an effective lobby for the sunroom industry with governments.
- To develop programs to increase the retail recognition of sunrooms.
- To present a positive image of the sunroom manufacturing industry.
- To develop standards for the sunroom industry.
- To provide a forum where the members of the sunroom manufacturing industry can freely meet and openly discuss ideas and issues of interest or concern to members.
The primary focus at the time of inception has been to tackle issues related to building code limitations across Canada. As the membership grows the Association will respond to the important issues that arise out of meetings, dealer surveys, and the industry itself.
CSMA is meant to be a unifying body across the industry in Canada and therefore will not respond to issues which may divide the membership or cause problems for a sector.
